About
Former Collegiate Softball Player at West Texas A&M University (2015-2018). I am a 3x All-American, 2x Golden Glove, 2x LSC MVP, and 2018 Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame Softball Player of the Year. I hold several records at my University and a few National records. I ended my Softball Career with 82 Homeruns, 8 Grand Slams, 266 RBI's, and a career batting average of .392. I enjoy breaking down a swing and enhancing mechaincs through tee drills, front toss, and live arm.
My favorite thing about coaching is seeing my players put in the work, succeed, and bragging about it to me. I love being able to explain hitting in a way that players fully understand and also seeing the process come to life. Coaching is what keeps me in the game since I can no longer play, my love for the sport is unmatched and i would't trade what I do for anything. I like to think I still play through them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I always start with a 5-10 minute evaluation period where I just watch mechanics and form to see what needs improvement. From there I go into instruction and explaination of a successful yet comfortable swing, pitch, throw, or feilding position depending on what the client is working on.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied Sport Sciences at my Univeristy where I took several classes on how students learn and the different learning processes which has really helped my ability to communicate and instruct every student in a way that they will understand best. I have worked with several major leauge baseball players throughout my career and have gained a plethora of knowldege through them.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My prices are as follows:
70.00 an hour
40.00 for half hour
100.00 for group lesson
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching in college where I worked with all age groups during camps/clinics. Once my career ended I knew I wanted to continue with coaching so I jumped in at D-Bat and started working one on one, which has been my favorite.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all different types of athletes at all different ages. I have worked with Special Olympians, Male Slow Pitch athletes, baseball players, and toddlers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who meets your needs and cares about taking your game to the next level. Biggest piece of advice I would say is to find someone who pushes you to be better, they show tough love yet compassion for being your coach. If they don't have drive it will slowly take a toll on your passion for the game. Lessons should be fun yet taken seriously.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. What do I struggle with most and why.
2. Am I willing to work on my skill outside of lessons.
