My bio. -
“Richard Todd is an underwater photographer with unique travel experiences. He has led photography workshops and Shootout competitions to every continent (but Antarctica) and multiple oceans. He has taught photography and videography at the world-renowned Monterey Bay Aquarium in California. He uses Adobe Photoshop Lightroom® to organize images from cellphones, Point-&-Shoots, drones and DSLRs from his groups traveling to off-the-beaten-path locations. In fact he wrote a monthly article called “Off the Beaten Path” for Dive Chronicles® magazine.
Richard is Founder and Director of EPIC - an iconic, standard-setting environmental photography competition. He was Founder and served as President of the Monterey Peninsula Underwater Photographers in the Education Department of the Aquarium. He is now retired and runs the photo competitions of the Dallas Underwater Photographic Society (DUPS).
He was shipwrecked in Fiji, has appeared on numerous T.V. shows (including the “Disasters at Sea” episode on the Oprah Show®) and still travels extensively. This year it’s Yellowstone, Iceland, Washington D.C. for the Cherry Blossom Festival, Chicago, and Fiji.
