    Frequently asked questions

When working with a new athlete, I begin by assessing their current fitness level, goals, and any previous training or injuries. I then design a personalized training plan that focuses on building a strong foundation, improving technique, and progressively increasing intensity. Throughout the process, I prioritize communication, motivation, and regular evaluations to ensure continuous improvement and safety.
I have formal education in Sports Administration along with certifications in personal training and athletic performance. My training includes strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and sport-specific programming, all of which equip me to effectively support athletes in reaching their peak performance.
Yes, I offer a standard pricing system based on session length and frequency. Individual sessions are $40 for 1.5 hours, Group training and team rates are also available upon request.
I got started teaching athletic training after years of competing and realizing how much I enjoyed helping others improve their performance. I began by volunteering with local youth sports teams, and the positive feedback from athletes and parents inspired me to pursue formal certifications and turn my passion into a profession.
I have worked with a diverse range of students, including beginners just starting their athletic journey, high school athletes preparing for collegiate competition, and adults looking to improve fitness and performance. My experience spans various sports, allowing me to tailor training to individual goals and skill levels.
A recent event I’m especially fond of was a local youth sporting event where several of the athletes I’ve been training achieved personal bests. Seeing their hard work pay off and their excitement after their performances was incredibly rewarding and reinforced why I’m passionate about coaching and athlete development.
My advice to a student looking to hire a coach is to find someone who not only has strong technical knowledge but also takes the time to understand your individual goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. A good coach should communicate clearly, build trust, and tailor training plans to help you grow consistently while keeping the experience positive and motivating.
Students should consider their specific goals—whether it’s improving speed, strength, technique, or overall fitness—as well as their current skill level, commitment availability, and any previous training experience. They should also think about their preferred learning style and what motivates them, so they can communicate clearly and ensure the coach is a good fit for their development.
