About this pro

I am an experienced draftsman, painter, and printmaker, interested in teaching the important fundamentals of recreating images. I want to help you learn to draw, and then watch you develop your own style all on your own.

I’m currently an art student at SMU, and before that attended a performing and visual arts high school. I’ve studied in Europe extensively as well as with esteemed painters in the United States, and have had my work featured in the Dallas Museum of Art.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

We can begin by assessing your level — everything takes practise, and regardless of your experience, we can develop a curriculum and process that’s right for you.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I studied at an arts high school, and will be graduating this coming May with a degree in Studio Art.

I’ve also worked as a painting teacher on and off for the last two years.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Lessons start at 50$ per hour at my location, and 75$ per hour if I’m travelling to you.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What do you want to be drawing? Who are some artists you admire? I can work with you to emulate styles and to develop your own.
