About
I am a Texas Board Certified Art Educator and I have most recently worked with DISD and charter schools in the DFW area with students of all ages. I have a Bachelors of Science in psychology with a minor in studio arts. My strengths are my interpersonal skills, patience, and an array of verbal and visual and tactile approaches to learning.
Creativity is my passion, and educating is my hobby! Facilitating therapeutic release in combination with education in something to be proud of, brings meaning to my life!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Luckily I have a vast tool belt of approaches. I prefer to get to know my student and their personal goals and learning preferences. I work well with anyone from very hyperactive to very shy. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all learning process, because it is about my student’s success and happiness, not my personal teaching preferences.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been a K-12 Board Certified art & language teacher since 2016; and have a B.S. in psychology with a minor in painting and ceramics.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?
I graduated college and decided I may be too empathetic to be an adolescent therapist, so I combined my personal passions for art and social work into a career as an educator.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all types of students from Pre-Kindergarden and above. I work well with ADHD students and with differently abled students of all kinds!
