Coach Joseph Burch was an outstanding coach for our 6 year-old YMCA soccer team this season. He brought professionalism, energy, and genuine dedication to the boys and their development throughout the season.

Coach Burch has a coaching style that is direct, encouraging, and highly effective. He challenged the boys to improve and pushed them to reach their potential, while still making practices and games fun and enjoyable. The improvement in the team over the course of the season was very noticeable, both in fundamentals and overall confidence on the field.

Just as importantly, Coach Burch emphasized sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect for others as core priorities throughout the season. He created a positive and encouraging environment where the boys supported one another, celebrated team successes together, and learned how to compete the right way.

He brings a tremendous amount to the table in terms of teaching fundamentals, refining skills, building confidence, and fostering teamwork. He is a great coach, and I would highly recommend him to any player or family fortunate enough to have him involved with their team.
