About
I provide mobile CPR and First Aid classes, meaning I can come to your location to make it convenient for my students. I also tailor my classes to fit my students' needs so that they are confortable being in an emergency situation for what they might need these skills for.
I enjoy learning from something new from my students. It's something that helps me with my future classes to provide better quality training. I also like to meet new people and learn something new.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I first find out what their needs are and what they are looking for in a class. Second, I find out what agency they need their certification in. This makes it easier to provide pricing and tailor my classes to their needs so that they aren't wasting their time.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Firefighter/EMT for the past 7 years. I am also an EMT instructor for new students, some who have gone on to become Paramedics. I also hold a Bachelor's in Emergency and Disaster Planning from UNT and am currently pursuing my Master's in Emergency Management.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The pricing for my classes are from $45 to $65 per person. I also offer group rates for classes of 10 or more people and for non-profit organizations.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching in this field the year after I received my EMT certification in 2012. I enjoyed teaching these classes and have been doing so every since.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with healthcare professionals, swim instructors, Scouts and laypersons.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a teacher, make sure they offer what you need in terms of course content. Most instructors are independent instructors and set their prices competitively so that's one thing to keep in mind. Also, look at instructors and their availability to make sure it fits into your timeframe.
