About
Hi! I have been teaching lessons of all skill levels and styles to students of all ages for the last 8 years. I have a Masters in Music from UNT as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Music from TCU. I always put the interests of the student first, and structure each lesson to best fit their needs. The student always comes first!
I enjoy getting to meet new people and helping them to find what interests them in music. I enjoy seeing what I do benefit others as well as watching them progress steadily. That brings a great amount of satisfaction to me, and most importantly to the student.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Typically, I will try to probe the students interests, its most important to find what they want to study first so I can then tailor the ciricullum towards what is going to inspire them to practice. I will see what type of music they listen to, or find certain songs (disney, etc.) that they want to learn, then approach these songs in a way that facilitates their understanding of the instrument. It's a fun way of getting them to learn the basics!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have both a Masters of Music from UNT as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Music from TCU.
