I am currently an elementary school teacher. I have taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th grade. During my private tutoring services, I have worked with students in Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, and 5th grade. Additionally, I am officially certified to teach any grade level from PreK to 6th grade. I have a strong passion for teaching, and would love to offer tutoring to anybody who needs it!
I enjoy building connections with students so that they can become life-long learners. I always loved school growing up, and had great success because of my love for it. My goal is not simply to help students understand concepts they're learning in school, but to also build a love for learning.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As every student is different, I would like to being working with new students by determining what level they are at and what level they are trying to be at by the end of our session(s). We will begin by determining the students' current level and creating a plan to attain the end goal together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am currently an elementary school teacher, and am certified in the state of Texas to teach any subject (English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Art, Music, and PE/Health) from grade levels ranging from PreK to 6th grade. Additionally, I have my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership.
