Hi! I'm Josh Burner. I'm an easygoing and patient man with creativity and passion out the wazoo! I'm looking to spread some of my knowledge, experience, and passion to others the same way it was passed to me!
I do prefer working with older kids, but I still enjoy working with younger ones! I love to see kids have fun while they learn.
My musical experience comes from 4 years as a professional Trombonist for the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing Band in Cherry Point, NC. My education comes form the Navy School of Music in Norfolk, VA. I have performed in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and Mardi Gras.
Music has always been a passion of mine. Listening to and creating music adds an extra zest to life. Why do anything in life without music?

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1. Ask the parents about the student.
2. Ask the student questions such as what they like, what they're passionate about, etc.
3. Start off with small lessons and observe signs of what the student's learning style might be and what they respond best to.
4. Develop plan specialized to the student.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
