K2 Defense Firearms & Training

My firearms background started back in 2005 as a fresh face private with the 72nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 36th Infantry Division in the Texas Army National Guard. Fast forward quite a few years of collecting and shooting various firearms and being known as the “gun guy” in my circle, I was encouraged to turn this passion for educating others into a business. I am NRA certified pistol instructor and American Heart Association certified CPR/AED/First Aid instructor as well as a few other certifications.

My goal is to educate beginners to the world of firearms on the basic fundamentals to safely own, store, and skillfully shoot firearms for recreation or God forbid to one day save your life or the life of a loved one. Although I very much have a passion for tactical training and everything of the sort, my classes are targeted to those that a new and I adjust my terminology and training accordingly. You won’t feel out of place or too inexperienced to enjoy and I expect you will leave with the confidence and basic skills to be a responsible and exceptional firearms shooter.
