What is your typical process for working with a new student?

As a new student for classes you will be walked the the entire process for registering and completing each class.

If you should have questions, you may call and leave a message or email and they will be answered as quickly as possible. This is usually by the end of day or within 24 hours if the question requires some research.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As a CPR instructor, I have been trained through National Safety Council, American Heart Association and American Safety and Health Institute.  I am an official training center and currently teach CPR for Healthcare Providers and Bloodborne Pathogens with the American Safety and Health Institute.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Yes...all prices are listed on both websites.   www.midcitiesmassagecentre.com or www.cprservicesofnorthtexas.com

If you need special group pricing or have other questions, please feel free to call at 817-999-1722 one email me at [email protected] or [email protected]

How did you get started teaching?

I come from a family of teachers.  After working in the public school systems, I was asked to attend massage school, where after graduating and receiving my license, I was asked to teach massage and continuing education classes at Texas Massage Institute in Fort Worth, Texas.

After the state required graduating students have CPR, I became certified and began teaching CPR courses.  It has been a very rewarding addition to my skill set.

What types of students have you worked with?

i work with students from many different walks of life and career choices.  Many have been massage therapists-where others like myself also work in the home healthcare industry.

Others simply want to be well-trained in their personal lives in case something happens.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Oh Wow!  Talking with a group of young kindergarteners about how to perform CPR and dialing 911 to help others even as young as they are.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Look for someone who is well-trained, that is willing to meet your schedule and that genuinely cares for the individuals and training...not just the money aspect.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

1.  Where are the located?

2.  Will they come to you if you get a group together?

3.  How long have they been teaching?

4.  What are their areas of expertise? CPR, First Aide, Wilderness Training, etc.?
