We love to provide safe, fun, and affordable training to individuals who are new or seek to improve thier skills. We provide the Texas Licesnse to carry course as well as USCCA courses. We provide lessons at several of the gun ranges in the DFW area.
At Train Protect Defend we really love being able to help you learn how to protect yourself and your family. Providing these classes really helps you know that you are in good hands in the event that something bad does happen. We are here to provide a safe training space for you. We want you to feel comfortable shooting a firearm and provide classes and private lessons to make that happen.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
As we receive a new student we want to figure out what their past experience with firearms is.
1. have you been around guns?
2. have you ever shot in a range?
then as we find out this information we tailor the session towards their needs and goals
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, NRA Handgun Instructor, Texas License to Carry Instructor, Range Safety Officer(NRA and USCCA), USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, USCCA Training Counselor

How did you get started teaching?
Through helping friends and family learn to be more comfortable with firearms I found my passion for teaching. From there I decided to make it to be a full-time job of helping people become more comfortable shooting a gun.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.
numerous students come in with zero exposure to firearms and a very anxious mindset about using a handgun end up finishing their private lessons feeling extremely comfortable with being around this environment and shooting a handgun.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
look for someone who is very experienced in the field and who has your best interest at heart.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
The "why" or the reason for wanting to become more comfortable shooting a gun and the end goal
