Deep In The Heart CPR
About
Deep in the Heart CPR delivers American Red Cross–aligned, OSHA-compliant CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), Stop the Bleed, and Narcan training for individuals, groups, and workplaces across North Texas. Based in Flower Mound, TX, the company offers weekend in-studio classes and mobile, on-site training throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth area, with occasional weekday availability in Lewisville.
Instruction is led by founder and principal instructor Kristy Anderson, CEM, LP, a licensed paramedic and EMS educator with 25 years of experience spanning firefighting, law enforcement, ER nursing, and corporate safety leadership. Most courses use a blended format with self-paced online learning followed by a short in-person skills session; full instructor-led and fully online virtual CPR options are also available. Students receive official 2-year American Red Cross certification digitally at the end of class.
Offerings include Adult, Child, and Infant First Aid/CPR/AED, BLS for healthcare providers, opioid overdose recognition and naloxone administration, ACS Stop the Bleed, Texas babysitter training, pet CPR/First Aid, and teacher and parent classroom safety. Training is beginner-friendly for ages 11 and up and meets workplace requirements.
All students receive take-home items such as a CPR face shield, BVM valve, gloves, and gauze, and courses include a free box of Narcan nasal spray. The company also provides AED sales, installation, and maintenance checks. Scheduling assistance and support are available seven days a week.
