About
I teach all aspects of the game: Pitching, hitting, fielding, baseball IQ and strategy.
I'm a former NCAA Division I and professional pitcher. In 2007, I led my team to finish runner-up in the Junior College World Series, making the All Tournament Team. I was recruited by multiple Division I schools around the county. At Jacksonville University in Florida, I helped my team win an NCAA Conference Championship, making the All Tournament Team, and advancing to an NCAA Regional in 2009. After pitching in the Frontier League, I trained and coached everything from little league to college baseball and have coached with many former professional and MLB athletes.
“I was never the typical big athlete that you think of from a guy that throws hard. At 147 pounds I was throwing 92 MPH! In order to do this, I had to know how to use my body properly and I had to be very strong and efficient in my movements and timing throughout my mechanics.”
I have developed a unique pitching program that focuses on arm and body care by training and strengthening pitching specific movements through unique exercises and drills. This program is designed to train efficient body movements throughout the pitching motion, and develop maximum energy transfer throughout the entire body. This results in throwing the ball harder, more accurately, and with the greatest amount of movement. This program will help your son maximize his body’s potential and give him the tools he needs to be a successful pitcher!
Throughout my career I've played multiple positions and hit as well. I've trained and learned from some of the best hitters and coaches in the game. I've completely turned high school hitters around in a matter of weeks! I train hitting from a professional stand point and can teach althletes to efficiently hit the hardest throwing pitchers out there.
Coaching and training athletes and watching them succeed on the field gives me the greatest feelings of fullfilment! I love to watch others grow and succeed!
My main goal is help athletes reach their full potential on the field and in life. Applying the principles they learn on the field will help them learn charater attributes they can use to better themselves in other aspects of their life.

I train at The Strike Zone in Orem and have access to a HitTrax hitting and pitching analysis tool. However, we can train at a local field or park near me for much better pricing.

How did you get started teaching?
I trained with former pitching coach Joe Fletcher who played professionally for the former Expos and then New York Yankees. He coached at the collegiant level for many years before he branched out and started his own training facilty. As I trained with him, he everntually became my mentor and then I started to work with him. I've been coaching and training ever since.
