Joe is the Alliance Range Manager at Shoot Smart. He joined Shoot Smart in March 2012 and brings over 13 years of military experience. Joe is a dynamic and energetic leader having spent 10 years as a Non-Commissioned Officer in the US Army with 5 years of service in the Middle East in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Joe is a certified NRA Range Safety Officer, Pistol Instructor, and NRA Refuse To Be A Victim instructor. He is also a US Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) Concealed Carry and Home Defense Counselor and USCCA Defensive Shooting Fundaments Instructor. He is qualified to provide both private and classroom instruction. He has taken several advanced courses with outside instructors to expand his knowledge and better instruct students. Joe is passionate about firearms instruction and offers a positive training experience at all levels as a patient, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic instructor with a primary focus on safety.

He regularly instructs many of our courses including New Shooter, On Target, Troubleshooting, Rapid Fire, Holster Draw, Lights Out, Action Pistol, Self-Defense, Home Defense, Elite Pistol, AR-15 courses and Drill Nights. Joe has also led specialized classes for local businesses interested in firearm safety and protection.
