I'm Thani! (Pronounced like "Danny" but with a 'th-' sound instead of a 'd-'). My teaching approach focuses on student autonomy, allowing you to take charge of your own growth. Whether you're interested in jazz improvisation on the piano, electric guitar shredding, or songwriting, I'll guide you on your journey to becoming the musician you dream of being.
With over 17 years of experience in performing, writing, and teaching various styles, I'm known as the "Swiss Army" among my friends due to my versatility. I specialize in genres such as classical, jazz, pop, hip-hop, rock, avant-garde, soul/R&B, and more. I welcome students of all ages and skill levels and offer in-person lessons at my studio or your home, as well as online lessons.
As an organized and effective communicator with a strong background in performance and teaching, I prioritize excellence, collaboration, and adaptability. I completed my studies in vocal performance and composition at UNT. My passion lies in equipping, inspiring, and enriching the world through the transformative power of music.
