Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start by getting the players position, age, and skill level. After that we talk about stengths and weaknesses in order to come up with the best plan for our lessons. After that we schedule the first lesson and begin the journey together.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Current Assistant Coach at the University of Dallas. I am focused on the individuals strengths and weaknesses. I do not believe every ballplayer is the same and therefor not every player should have the same techniques. I also believe the mental side is extremely important and directly impacts the players ability to perform at the highest level possible and continue to grow.
Accomplishments:

How did you get started teaching?
Baseball has always been my one true love. From a very early age thru my playing career in college, baseball was always the center of my life. I was always learning and sharing my thoughts and ideas with others. That led many people to reach out asking for lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with all ages and skill levels. From players about to start their first year of coach pitch to players preparing for varsity and college.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone who brings a lot of excitement to each lesson. You want your kid to look forward to the lesson each week and the highlight of their week. Look for someone who is a mentor and someone your son can look up to on and off the field.
