About
Sessions are individualized. It's not about just doing drills. Sessions are used to grow the athlete in their strengths, and strive to eliminate their weaknesses; then we work on advancing their game.
What I enjoy about my work is seeing athletes not just grow in their ability to play the game of basketball, but also grow as individuals. As a coach I have been blessed to see how the game of basketball impacts the lives of young men and women...I've experienced this impact myself as an athlete. The mentality it takes to be coachable and grow as an athlete, is the same one that will help them become producive members of society. I can go on, but I will cut it short there.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First session with the athlete, I will assess what they can, and cannot do; having the athlete go through a series of skill related/game like drills. This allows me to develop an idea what we need to do in order to advance them. From that point, it's just honing in on eliminating weaknesses, growing strengths, and eventually advancing their game.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring my experiences as a player that was recruited on both the collegiate and professional level.
I am a certified coach. I coach year round, during the school year, and during select basketball season(s).
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I sell my sessions in packages, and those packages are paid for upfront. Sessions are for 1 hour.
Session Packages: 1 session ($60), 3 sessions ($55), 5 sessions ($50), 8 sessions ($45) - prices are per session
Acceptable payment methods: Zelle, Cash App (+1.75% fee), Venmo (+1.75% fee), and of course cash.
If coming to me:
There is a $50 a month access fee for the facility (Redline Athletics Frisco) that I work out of; this allows you unlimited access into the facility to use the court. This fee can be paid to me, or directly to the facility (Redline Athletics Frisco). This is paid in addition to the session packages price(s).
If I'm travelling to you:
I charge a fee for travelling outside of my base facility (Redline Athletics Frisco). This fee is paid in addition the session packages price(s). The location of training must be provided by the customer, as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I started coaching shortly after I graduated college, and was done with pursuing playing basketball at the professional level. I however, was not ready to walk away from the game of basketball, because of the love I have for it. So, I believed the best thing for me to do was to become a coach; and I am so glad that I made the decision!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students on the secondary level, and late elementary school level (4th-12th grade).
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
A recent event I am fond of, was being invited to be a coach in a camp put on by "Drive Nation". I was blessed with the task of working talented, D1 level, highschool players. I enjoyed being able to work with, sharpen their game, and of course watching these young men play at such a high level!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look for a coach that is there for you. You want someone that is there to make you better, that uses the session time to target your strengths and weaknesses; this is something that is measurable because you should see yourself getting better over time. You want a coach that can give you something you can do, even outside of the sessions...that is how you truly get better!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What is it that you really want out of these sessions? That's what you want to ask yourself as an athlete. Where you want these sessions to take you, what level? This will shape how you are trained, the direction you will go as an athlete, and ultimately how fast you will see results. Results take time, but if you really want it, they will come faster than if you didn't.
