About
Hi! My name is Archisha Sasson but I usually just go by Archie:) I am 17 years old and I am studying Calculus BC right now. I have always loved to help people with their math problems. I am still in high school, which means that the students will be more comfortable around me if they are teenagers or pre-teens.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson is typically just trying to understand the textbook and grade-level math. The first lesson is also free since it is not an actual study lesson, it is more of a "getting to know you" lesson. We will discuss the study methods and what textbook to use. The next lessons will be more about studying and getting to know the lesson. If a test is coming up I will prepare a review for the student. I also help the student with any homework questions or to teach a new topic entirely.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have held various study groups at school. I am a senior in high school studying calculus BC, which means that teaching anything that is algebra or below is good with me. I also work at a volunteer organization where I teach english and math to underprivileged kids from all around the world.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The first lesson is free, in case you are not a fan of my teaching style or equivalent. All the lessons after that cost $20 per lesson. No matter how long the lesson is, it will have a fixed price.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students from ages 6 to 16. I am very flexible in the math area as long as it is Algebra 2 or below.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Please let me know the textbook that is used as well as the level of math. Make sure you know what days you want to have lessons on. If you want, ask me about my qualifications or study method :).
