Christabel's Piano Lessons

My name is Christabel, has been teaching piano for few years. I structure my lessons so students learn what they want to learn, while also building a strong foundation of classical piano skills. My teaching philosophy is that don’t waste young student's time on one key (C) for years. They need quickly go to a higher level to keep their practice interesting.

For my piano students I use the Faber’s Piano Adventures series. Music theory and ear training also is part of my instruction. I prepare my students to take Texas State Theory Exam, enter the Festival, Sonatina Festival even and competitions held by Plano Music Teachers Association (PMTA).

I’m a member of PMTA (Plano Music Teachers Association) and member of MTNA (Music Teachers National Association).
