Hello,
I am Omar! I graduated in Dec 2018 with Bachelor of Science in Mathematics Cum Laude Honor. I was math tutor for pre-calc, calc and stats classes when I was in college for 3 years. Meanwhile I tutored ACT and SAT students in the math section. In addition, I was a math teacher. I taught grade 6, 7 and 8. Currently I tutor students ranging from middle school to college level.
I am very passionate about mathematics and my greatest passion in life is teaching. It is the foundation of my commitment to helping out my students, whatever their abilities may be I really enjoy teaching them. I have been tutoring and teaching in various settings – tutoring small and large groups, private individual tutoring, and home settings.
Key achievement:
Prepared and run after-school tutoring for students with learning difficulties that helped improve their final test results by 30%.
My father was a teacher and got passion about teaching from him. When I teach students I really feel the time goes by so fast.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I offer a free consulation to give chance for students and parents to get to know me. I also offer discounts on first session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Mathematics so I am a math person. Also, I was a math teacher and taught range of grades from middle to high school. In addition, I tutored SAT/ACT student and freshmen/sophomore students when I was in college.

Price is different per grades and levels. Also, different for in person vs online tutoring.
How did you get started teaching?
Since I was in college. I was offered a tutor job since my math grades were high!

Practice and practice to succeed in math and I have very helpful material to share for extra practice
