What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I work at the Student's pace. We focus on learning the basics first, then building upon them until they feel comfortable.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been an instructor for the Red Cross for three years, and a certified lifeguard for four. I have the following instructor certifications

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching through working with a lifeguarding company, under the supervision of one of the Red Cross's Instructor Trainers. I then grew to become an Auditor, where I did skill audits on behalf of the business for each of the 200+ employees.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with students from all backgrounds, ages and learning types! I'm always adapting to the student to make sure I provide them the best learning experience.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you pick someone who will work with you till you are comfortable and someone you connect with!
