My studio serves students age 6 through adult - beginner to early advanced from Georgetown and surrounding communities. I have helped people from south Austin, Burnet, Cedar Park, Round Rock, etc. develop playing skills that will help them enjoy the piano throughout their lives. I teach from 9 am to 7 pm providing time for home school students and adults in addition to after-school lessons. A classical methodology gives strong foundational skills that can extend to popular music, church, jazz and blues. Students give two recitals a year. Participation in festivals and competitions offered. Member MTNA/TMTA/ADMTA - UIL accompanist.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Prior to making any commitment I have potential students visit with me in my studio. It's a great opportunity for us to meet so you to see where and how I teach. Once lessons begin I start with a pieces at various skill levels to determine the level of music to begin with. In no time at all we are off and running! :)
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Degrees in piano performance and sacred music.
Extensive teaching experience.
