Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My favorite is watching someone who can't do a simple turn the first 10 min. and exclaiming "I'm really driving" at the end of the 2 hours. And then a few weeks later, sending me the picture of their license with the text, "I never thought this could be me!"
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Get someone who cares. Tell them of your fears and concerns and see how they react.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Make sure you have that permit to start. Can't legally drive with someone else without it.
Tell you coach where you are in the driving process. "Never sat in a driver seat" to "I just need a refresher for the test"
