Professional Coaching (Ballet)

Mr. Bowman gave personal ballet coaching to my then 11 yr old daughter, who is aspiring to be a professional ballerina. Mr. Bowman knows his stuff! He explains the mechanics of the body while

breaking down how to execute the proper form of classical ballet. His knowledge, encouragement, and understanding of what she needed to work was second to none. In the few months that my daughter, Samantha, worked with Mr. Bowman, I saw tremendous improvement. He was very encouraging to her and she loved working with him. He is the utmost of a professional. I enjoyed getting to know him and have the utmost respect for him as a ballet professional and human being. If you are lucky enough to have him as a teacher in class or for private coaching, you are most fortunate. I highly recommend him.

I took ballet from Richard for many years...he is an inspiring teacher who has a huge heart, caring for each and every one of his students. I truly miss him since he left California!

Richard is a rarity that effectively teaches to dancers of all ages and levels: Kids, pros, hobbyists, cross-trainers. His emphasis is on fundamentals. In his classes, I worked, I learned, but most importantly, I danced!
