I most recently received my Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School, where I served as a Morse Teaching Artist Fellow and was a Teaching Assistant. For my teaching fellowship I was a teaching artist at New York City's Public School 191, the Riverside School for Makers and Artists.
For my Bachelor of Music, I attended the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University on a full scholarship as a Cornelius Vanderbilt Scholar, served as a pre-college chamber music coach, and taught clarinet at the W. O. Smith Community Music School.
I have lots of experience teaching at all levels and am excited to join you in your musical journey!

I like to spend my first lesson getting to know you and what level you seem most comfortable at, but most importantly, I like to know why you're taking lessons and what you want to get from me. I beieve that learning is a two way street and it's my goal to teach new techniques and ideas but also to learn your own interpretations and base my teaching to you.
I am a graduate of The Juilliard School and the Blair School of Music at Vanderbilt University and am currently a student at the Shepherd School of Music at Rice University.
During my time at Juilliard, I was a Morse Teaching Artist Fellow, and taught at P.S. 191. I also was a teaching assistant and assisted my principal teacher, clarinetist Jon Manasse. At Blair, I was a chamber music coach in the pre-college division and was a faculty member at the W.O. Smith Community Music School.
I charge $60/hour. For beginner-level students and/or students ages 10-13, I recommend 30 minute lessons.
Lessons will be billed monthly after the first lesson. Studio policies including my cancellation and reschedule policies will be given at the conclusion of the first lesson!
