RecertNow

RecertNow is a Houston, Texas–based American Heart Association training site founded in 1993. The organization delivers AHA emergency cardiovascular care courses, including Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Heartsaver CPR/First Aid/AED, serving clients across Southeast Texas from Texarkana to Corpus Christi. Class sizes are limited to six students.

Renewal classes run multiple days each week: ACLS every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning and Saturday morning; PALS every Tuesday and Saturday morning. Initial provider courses are scheduled for groups of six or more at the client’s location or at the Houston classroom. Skills testing is available for AHA HeartCode BLS, ACLS, and PALS, with BLS skills tests offered most mornings by appointment and additional sessions for ACLS and PALS on set weekdays and Saturdays.

Registration is handled by email. No prepayment is required; fees are due at the start of class and may be paid by cash, check, or credit card. Students must have current AHA textbooks (available for purchase at class) and complete the required AHA precourse self-assessment for ACLS and PALS. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, and rescheduling is accommodated when needed.
