About
I love working with all ages and all skill levels in a wide variety of mediums!
I've loved art since I was a very young child. My mother is an incredible artist and she loved nothing more than passing down her talents to myself and my sister. Now I teach others and continue passing down the passion for creating art. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing a students inner artist come alive. It's definitely my true calling in life!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I spend the first lesson discussing their specific goals and what they hope to get out of lessons. Then I usually have them create something on their own while I watch and asses so that I can see where they're at compared to where they want to be. Then I develop my lesson plan based on their needs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been trained in many artistic mediums since very early childhood. Much of what I learned came from my mother, who is an immensely talented artist. I also took art classes at U of H Clear Lake for many years. Then recently trained under another painter during my time as a studio assistant, where I was really able to refine my skills and gain experience as an art teacher.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Individual lessons typically start at $25/hour. However that may change depending on frequency of lessons, whether or not the student provides their own supplies, etc.
