Greetings ,
My goals are many, but the priority goal is promote student success.I have 30 plus years teaching in public school. My career began in Houston ISD. I love teaching and providing students with strategies and techniques to master skills. Test prep and interventions are very important , and should used to accomplish mastery. Writing and Reading are my favorite subjects. Essay writing is my speciality.
I believe that all students can learn when given an opportunity and an environment conducive for learning.It is very important to me that students are exposed to different ways to complete a task. I love teaching and my students. Student success is my main focus .The best feeling in the field of teaching is when you see students accelerate to a higher performing level after the completion of a semester.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I always introduce myself and give some information about myself. Next I allow the student to tell me something about themselves. Then I give the some scenarios about different situations in class and lethem answer how they would handle it.
Example: Teacher introduce fact and opinion concept and you don't completely understand. How would you handle that?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
A public school teacher in the biggest district in Texas (HoustonISD) with 25 years of experience. I've taught grade K-12 and college tutoring. Proven success rate in Writing and Reading. Students scored 100% on state mandated test.
