About

I have spent several years in the firearms industry and am able to teach students the basics of firearms safety, manipulation, function, and shooting techniques. I can also coach shooting techniques and defensive tactics.

I am great with first time shooters and people new to the hobby. I can teach the basics of handgun, rifle, and shotgun shooting at your own pace and comfort levels.

Frequently asked questions

I start with assessing the students knowledge level prior to the lesson. Depending in student's level of familiarity with the platform I will custom tailor the lesson based on the student's desired outcome. Every lesson is completely customized to the student's needs.

I acknowledge that firearms are a bit of a hot topic in today's world and I specifically refrain from any and all politics in my lessons.

I have been involved in the firearms industry since youth, and shoot competition as a hobby. I have had numerous friends ask me to teach them about firearms and to take them shooting for the first time. Everyone has said that I should take my hobby into a more professional arena.

Everyone from new shooters, entry level with some experience, never held a gun before, people in the firearms industry and want to know more about certain platforms, and all in between.

Make sure you are willing to commit to the lesson.  Many of my students are new to firearms, and some apprehension is normal. My advice is to be open minded and if you have questions do not hesitate to ask.

Wanting to know more about a topic is admirable. My advice: think carefully about what you wish to accomplish in the lesson. Are you trying to become a more accurate shooter? Are you wanting to train yourself in defensive tactics? Are you wanting to get more comfortable with a firearm? These are things you must ask yourself prior to class and inform me of what you wish to focus on so that I may better tailor the lesson to your specific needs.
