We host art classes that in small group settings but has individualized instruction. Students work on varying projects and receive instruction based on their age, skill level, and interests. Our goal is to encourage creativity, increase technique, and inspire a passion for art. Students will participate in exercises before starting on a picture of their choosing, and will leave with a masterpiece all their own. We also offer private lesson where students can work with an experienced teacher in a one on one environment.

We enjoy working with each student to help them create pieces of artwork that they are proud to take home and show off. Encouraging our students to explore their creativity and grow their skills is what drives our instructors.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We evaluate where the student is at with their drawing skills and then based on that help them pick out an image to start on. From there we will work with them to finish the drawing portion by using the grid system. We then transfer their image onto a canvas or illustration board. Once the student's image is on the illustration board or canvas we use a variety of mediums and techniques to complete a finished piece. Each student will work on a different picture while in the small group class setting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have been in business since April 2004 and all of our instructors either have their degree in fine arts or have formal training. They are familiar with many different mediums and comfortable in a teaching setting. Several of our instructors also have been teaching with The Artist Within for over 13 years.
