Maestro Piano Lessons
About
Hello potential student. I've been teaching for over 25 years to all ages. I'm classically trained and I'm also experienced at performing and teaching other styles as well like Jazz, Rock, & Gospel. After receiving my Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance from University of Houston and Masters Degree studies at Cincinatti College-Conservatory of Music, I spent 5 years as a pianist and music director on cruise ships. Currently, I'm based in Houston where I help my students reach their goals by focusing on musicianship, theory, sight-reading, technique, ear training, and improvising. So, whether you'd like to learn a piece by Chopin or seeking to improvise from a jazz fake book, I can help. Other areas of my expertise include being an active freelance pianist, accompanist, vocal coach, creator of published arrangements using music notation software, and scholar of the music of Nino Rota.
I love to share the joy of music. Great satisfaction comes from seeing my students progress and achieve their goals.
