My name is Eric Bruner and I started Fast Accent Reduction as a way to help non-native English speakers learn to speak American style English, giving them a great sense of confidence in the clarity and effectiveness of their communication. I work with individuals of all English speaking ability and age levels, as well as group and corporate training.
I've pursued my passion of helping speakers and singers improve their voices for over 30 years. I've taught speech/accent improvement in a variety of settings, from individuals of every age ability level and age, to courtroom lawyers wanting to be more persuasive with their voices, to employees from such companies as Exxon-Mobil or Dianal America (a subsidiary of Mitsubishi) helping them improve their communication with internal and external clients.
Even in their first lesson, students experience greater clarity in their speech as they are led through the first few exercises. By the end of the lesson, they have already experienced a reduction in their accents.
Students notice their speech improving as they go through a few short exercises each day. It really is that easy!
It is my goal to work myself out of a job by striving to teach students to be their own best teacher. In other words, I want my students to quickly identify their own unique pronunciation challenges so they can apply the right solution to dramatically reduce their accent.
I love helping others feel confident in their speech so they are clearly understood, knowing that they will make a great impression and not have people distracted or struggling to understand them. That is a great feeling!
