Music Lessons With Walter Johnson (Brass Specialist)

Mr. Johnson has been teaching privately for 20 years in Texas. He currently maintains a large tuba and Euphonium studio at The Woodlands HS north of Houston. When teaching lessons Mr. Johnson can be found performing as a freelance musician with local orchestras, in solo recitals, or with Space City Brass quintet-a brass quintet which he founded.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Johnson was a musician in the United States Navy, performing ceremonial duties and public outreach concerts with a wide variety of musical styles including Dixieland, Classical, Rock, R&B, New Orleans style Brass Band, and more.

When Mr. Johnson isn't teaching, practicing, or performing he enjoys spending time with his wife Megan, and their children: Claire, Emma, Lucas, and Riley.
