What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Our first lesson is an evaluation. We take the skills you are looking to improve and evaluate the players current knowledge and skill level. Knowing where a player is beginning is the best way to get them where they want to be.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I played volleyball from age 12-23. My college playing experience was at the NAIA, NCAA DI &DII level. I began coaching while in high school and have coached club and high school volleyball for 15yrs. I began my own club 5years ago and have many successful teams and seasons.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Privates are $45/hour. When doing group privates the price drops $10 per player. I do keep group privates to a maximum of 5players.
How did you get started teaching?
In high school the club I played for offered coaching positions for players who wanted to receive community service hours and scholarships towards their club dues.
