I know that use of language in reading, writing, and literature doesn't come natural for many people. So, I would very much like to help you learn how to view the type of language use you desire to know about. People do best when they accomplish goals, no matter how large or small. We all learn one step at a time. So, with that approach goals get accomplished. I want your trust, so you need to know that I taught 25 years of teaching English literature, writing, poetry, creative writing, and vocabulary development in junior high, high school, and community college levels. Nearly all of that experience was in west Texas in the towns of Odessa and Midland. My formal training is in both English education and in linguistics from 6 different universities, giving me a broad perspective of methods and information. If you want to learn to write with pizzazz, create great images and comparisons, understand what to look for in literature so that a novel or poem makes sense, of if you just need some basics about grammar and communicative skills, I want to help you. Guiding others to learn is a great reward for me.
