About

I offer several types of photography from portraits, real estate photography, commercial photography, event photography and lifestyle corporate branding sessions! I also own a marketing company, so it's a unique blend of both industries!

Photography has taught me to look at life different. I pay attention at architecture, light, shadows, human interaction a d it has made me more in tune with life around me. It has really been a gift for me to get lost in my talent, it's really my only "me" time having 2 little kids and it's expressive! It helps me craft beautiful memories, and I also get to really challenge myself in the type of photos I create!

Kelly was great to work with. She listened to our ideas and also brought her magic to the session. Very creative and captured the life in the photos. Trusted her and we were not disappointed!

    Frequently asked questions

We go over fundamentals of photography, dive into manual mode, we talk about composition & creativity, editing, and typically I provide models for live practice in my in-person sessions!  I also go over how to turn photography into a career if that interests a group.

I am constantly taking editing classes, styled photography shoots, I offer beginner photography classes in Fort Worth and I watch a lot of YouTube to further my creativity and stay on top of the photography industry and trends.

I typically do live 3 hour session for $100, or Zoom/online meetings for an hour at $50.

I had a lot of Mommy friends that wanted to take better pictures than their phones can take.  Getting off manual mode is INTIMIDATING, so I started offering classes twice a year to help people jumpstart their photography careers or learn manual mode!

Everyone!  I have helped people with point and shoot cameras, students that never touched a camera, high school kids, and I even mentor "learning professional" photographers who shadow me or join me as a second shooter.

I had a guy that I briefly mentored and he joined me at a small 3 hour wedding.  He was a little apprehensive, but we had a GREAT time. After our mentor time, we posted this beautiful post about how he was afraid to do photography professionally.  Especially WEDDINGS! He said he owed me because he never would have taken the chance to shoot a wedding, and now it's his favorite (and main source of income)!  That's what I want. I want people to not be afraid to simply learn and further craft their own artistry and point of view! I look forward to every "anniversary" of that post when it appears in my IG.

You don't have to be an expert or ever touched a DSLR. You won't leave an expert either.  Photography is a life-long craft. You will ALWAYS learn something new.  This gives you the basics to get out there and shoot!

I get a lot of questions about the type of camera they need.  You DO NOT have to spend a ton of money on a camera or lens. My first camera lasted me 7 years and cost $430.  If you learn to use your equipment, ANYTHING can work. Rent a camera for a day!  Are you a Nikon shooter?  Are you a Canon shooter? Rent a camera with a simple 50mm lens.. see how the camera feels to you.  Next, what do you truly enjoy shooting?  Yiu might want to get into wedding photography and quickly learn it's not for you! You might love fashion photography! I think you need to be bold and try on different photography niches to see where your interest lie.
