I honestly enjoy watching kids get better, asking questions and growing in IQ. Also, seeing how much their confidence has grown over time. That's the only reward you get from this.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I usually allow the player(s) and/or parent to let me know what the weaknesses are, and I would touch on the along with a minor skills assessment, to get a feel of the player just so I know what needs to be worked on for future references.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors in business management and I've played college ball and 6 yrs as a professional basketball player, now in my 4th yr coaching and training.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
$50 a session (individual trainer)
$15 a player (team training)
$40 a session (group training/more then 3 players)
How did you get started teaching?
I was a player first, and as a point guard I had to know every position on the floor. So with alot of mess ups, I found myself in similar situations on the court that I learned from, and all the knowledge of the game and experience I have, I figured I would pass it down to aspiring players.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with players from elementary school, all the way to NBA players, such as Royce O'Neal (Utah jazz) Xavier Alexander (OKC 66ers G-league) D.J. Stephens (Memphis grizzlies & Overseas) to name a few.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I threw a charity event in my hometown to pay homage to all the veterans. And threw a basketball game with all overseas and NBA G-league players along with halftime events and free giveaways.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure you are mentally prepared to go through what needs to get done in order to be successful in this field.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They need to ask themselves, what are thier strengths and weaknesses. Before coming to me the player(s) should already know what needs to be worked on. Coaches can't play in the game with the players, so players need to ask, what are their strengths and weaknesses before going to a coaach/trainer.
