What is your typical process for working with a new student?
A new student would call me and let me know an idea of what they would like to create. We would discuss size and plan good times and places to meet.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in Art History and a degree in studio art. Fifteen years worth of hands on work as a High End oil painter and I have worked as an in house artist in both Atlanta and New York

How did you get started teaching?
I was asked if I could give lessions to someone’s daughter. We painted in the art gallery space in the New York gallery. We had a lot of fun.
What types of students have you worked with?
Teenagers and adults.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I love modern dance. I like to attend a three day event where all different dance companies are invited so you are able to get a sample of each companies style. Truest my favorite event.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Start copying the masters and if you can use true pigments not hues....you will get a much better result.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are you looking to accomplish it is this just a fun thing... would you like to have formal lessons on art therory or jump in with a photograph and learn as you go.
