He was so patient with my son! Whether working with him on his baseball skills or his math homework, he takes his time and always finds a way to reach my son which isn’t always easy to do! I can’t recommend him enough! He’s really great for pitching lessons!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Finding out how a student learns is always a key early step in the process. Making a connection and enjoying the learning process is just as important.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

25 years public school teaching experience

Certified by USA Baseball to Coach and train

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

Lessons run between $25-$40 per lesson, depending on length and type of instruction.

How did you get started teaching?

While in the business world, I enjoyed training employees. One happened to be the son of a local principal. She said that the teaching profession needed people like me to make a difference, so she convinced me to change careers.

What types of students have you worked with?

I've taught students from grades K-12
I've  coached players from age 5 through 18.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Having my son, who was a pitcher in college, come help me coach a Pony league team of 9 year olds. It was one of those full circle moments.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Ask questions!!

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

The questions that you will ask should always come from true honesty. Don't ask or agree to things based on what you think a teacher or a parent wants to hear, base them on your actual needs and concerns. Don't cover up or sugar coat anything. Knowledge truly is your key in life.
