Jamall Anthony

Hello, my name is Jamall Anthony. I am a 28 year old music producer, recording engineer, and bassist. I am a father of one, who is a 4 year old pre-kindergarner. I have played piano by ear since I was about the age of my son, and that fascination with music at an early age developed into a full-blown obsession with music ever since.

I have been playing bass for 18 years; in both classical (wood bass) and modern (electric bass). I was a perinial First Chair bassist in the Denton ISD Orchestra program for 5 years, and bassist for the Krum ISD Band program for 2 years -- where I also received a scholarship award for most outstanding performance.

I also have been producing and engineering music for the past 14 years. My production and engineering credits include several major artists and companies, including: Slim Thug (E1 Music), Rick Ross (MMG/Def Jam), Gudda Gudda & Jae Millz (Young Money/Universal), Wiz Khalifa (Rostrum), Freddie Gibbs (ESGN), and BET Television Networks. My production and engineering credits made it to the Top Rap Album Billboard chart in 2010 ("Tha Thug Show" by Slim Thug).

I was also selected as one-of-12 competitors in the 2010 Red Bull Big Tune in Detroit, Michigan; which was subsequently aired on both BET and Fuse.

I am currently 10 months from completing an Associate of Science in Music Production from the Los Angeles Film School, located in Hollywood, CA.

I am very passionate about music, and hope to help other musicians of all skill-levels and ages not only improve their techniques, but to also make their love of music into a promising career.
