I have taught visual arts around the globe. I love to travel and learn from others about the art, culture, and food of a new place. I use that experience in my teaching.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I provide all the materials for students to experiement with. I demonstrate many different techniques for them to try. I continue to encourage the student letting them know learning a new skills is hard. We have to be patient with ourselves. Working each day will help improve skills and techniques. Once the student works on the techniques they become wowed by what they can accomplish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a Texas certified art educator and makeup artist. I have spent the last 18 years teaching art techniques to students ages preschool through adult. I have worked in the Lewisville School District teaching visual arts to elementary students through high school seniors. I have taught art virtually for the past 4 years. I have all the technology set up to teach effectivily either online or in person.

I provide all the supplies and materials needed for the student! I can come to your home or we can work online together.
How did you get started teaching?
I am the daughter of two public school teachers. They each retireed after 35 plus years in the classroom. It is in my DNA to teach and I would not have it any other way. I started creating art as a toddler and have continued to learn new techniques to this day.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have taught art and face painting to students of all ages. I have worked with students in preschoool through adults around the globe.
