What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Meet the student at 1st lesson and decide what they want to get accomplished and in what time frame. Then work wit them within those parameters.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All City HS baseball player.College ballplayer and short time in Minor League. Been coaching for 40 years and giving lessons for last 15.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Usually $1 per minute of lesson. That seems to be on the cheaper end of what other teachers are charging.
How did you get started teaching?
Necessity as a father of 3 boys who all played baseball into their HS years.
What types of students have you worked with?
From 4 year olds up to HS seniors.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
If the coach is qualified and will push the student to be better w/o hurting the students arm and / or elbow for pitchers.
