He pushed me to get better and come ready to work every single session. I feel like my conditioning especially got much better since I started training, as we would go from drill to drill with little to no break. Overall great training and feel like my game improved in many ways.

I love how thorough Akah is when explaining the workout and training techniques, Akah always provides a thorough evaluation before getting hands on . Akah takes the time and effort with me to show me how to become the best basketball player on the team . I would highly recommend this trainer for basketball.

I hired LA and his team about four months ago to work with my 7 year old son, who'd played a little "non-dribbling" basketball about a year prior. In games he would shy away from the ball, not catch the ball and certainly not dribble when given the opportunity. LA has worked with him and totally transformed his game. LA was amazing. 100% reliable, always prompt and on time for our sessions and ready to work. My son loves working with him because the workouts are fun but most importantly, we've seen dramatic improvement. LA is a also a great guy and super easy to work with.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First I go through basic drills with them to see where they are at in their game then from there I begin taking them through the appropriate drills for their skill level and we elevate from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been playing ball for quite a while now and I am currently still playing. So I know a lot when it comes to basketball drills for each category the athlete is trying to get better in and all. I received awards for my play during my collegiate career such as first team all conference and all American. I majored in mass communications so I know how to talk to players and allow them to get the message that I am trying to portray and a great encourager and motivater.
