Houston SAMA Training

Houston Crisis Training Center, LLC (Houston SAMA Training) delivers Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression (SAMA) and American Heart Association CPR training from Houston, Texas, serving clients statewide. For the past 15 years, the center has provided crisis training and recertification focused on preventing aggression from becoming physically harmful. SAMA instruction covers early verbal intervention through the Assisting Process and safe physical skills for protection, containment, and object retrieval.

Training is offered in small, appointment-only classes at the Houston location or onsite at client facilities; organizations with six or more participants can request onsite sessions. Courses include initial SAMA provider certification and annual renewals. Posted rates include SAMA Annual Renewal at $85 and SAMA Initial Provider at $100, with a refresher option for lapsed certifications. Classes are scheduled on a first-come basis, with online prepayment required to reserve a seat. Policies include limited class sizes, no refunds, and one complimentary reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice.

Additional offerings include AHA-approved Heartsaver CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), available in blended online formats with in-person skills practice and testing by an AHA instructor. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
