Houston High School Volleyball League

My name is Jose Berrueto, and I began coaching four years ago when my son became interested for the first time in volleyball in spring 2021, while he was a freshman in High School. His new High School formed a Boys team and I became the coach, and coached him and his team until he graduated from High School in May 2024. During this time I coached privately all his team mates and others. My son now plays in the men's team at The University of Texas in San Antonio (UTSA) and his best friend, also in the High School team, plays at The University of Oklahoma. Since the Spring of 2024 I've coached girls team at KIPP East End High School and have led them to playoffs for the first time in the program. Since 2021, I've worked with players 1-on-1 from different schools and different ages, helping learn basics and other skills that have helped them improve their game.
