My service stands out because I have teaching experience as a High school art teacher and separately, as a high school healthy cooking instructor. When I teach these two subjects, I am truly in my greatest form because I LOVE these topics. I am encouraging, full of related stories and ways to remember things, open to trial and error, and I believe that when learning about both cooking and art, the student learns best by experimenting with what he or she likes. From seeing what the student likes the taste or the look of, it's easier to see how to mold that personal interest into work that will wow others. Maybe you even get good enough at what you like to serve a crowd of people a dish that they'll want seconds and thirds on. Maybe we can make your art good enough to sell for small profits, or to enter into competitions and win prizes. Whatever your goals and dreams for learning a new skill, I want to be the person who helps you realize your true talents and help you accomplish your heart's desire.
I love that life, in every sense, is a forever learning process. We can always get better at what we try to do, learn more about the things we want to know, and help others more with things they hope to do. My work of teaching others things that I enjoy is fulfilling in every way. It energizes me to know that that I can bring about another person's interest in a topic that I am passionate about. When someone is learning something new and they ask me a question, I strive to give them the best possible answer. That means that when I'm home, I feel pressured to be constantly learning so that I can always have more and more to offer my students. To me, that's really living life.
