I work with individuals to really tap into their creative expression. I specialize in working with women and children who have experienced a traumatic upset in their life utilizing visual expression in a safe, loving, and judgement free zone.
The process of creating brings me joy and what I enjoy most is watching others come to life when they are creating!! I have learned so much about myself, life and the world around me through the processs and I love guiding others!!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Professional Artist, trained through education, observation and life.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Standard is $35 per hour which includes supplies (supplies limited to one canvas, up to 16x20, per session)
How did you get started teaching?
By accident or design, God put me in front of others who wanted to learn more about my passion.
What types of students have you worked with?
I prefer to work with women and teens. I lead art workshops with women in recovery as well.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
For technical training, go to school. For freedom of expression, don't spend alot of money on training, just get in some basics like color and composition and then get a little hand holding to overcome fear and self-doubt. You were born to create, we all were!!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
I am an open book and will probably answer questions you didn't know you had. Most importantly there should be an interview meeting to which you get to determine if the connection between you and the teacher is comfortable and where you feel trust can be established.
