About
Hey there I am Coach Earnie Williams everyone calls me Coach E. I have been training youth for about 10 years now. I am currently retired from playing 7 years of professional basketball overseas in Portugal, Ecuador, Spain, Puerto Rico, Sweden, France, China, and Romania. I am former Lady Longhorn and McDonald's All-American. I love coaching and teaching young student athletes about the game of basketball, teamwork, and building a strong character with a work ethic that will help them in life.
In my academy I work with both boys and girls 6th-12th grade or pro levels and offer group skills training, private skills training, virtual skill training, and virtual mentorship. I focus on the student athlete's IQ-Physique-Technique. I train all positions on the floor, but I specialize in midrange shooting, attacking the basket, and post moves as I was very good at those skills as a professional.
I also am a certified NEUBIE specialist. One of few therapists in Austin,Tx. I use an electro therapy to locate origins of pain or imbalanced muscles and use the machine to reverse pain and help recovery athletes from injury or protect them from future injury. This technology helped heal my knees and add on 4 years to my pro career. ITS AMAZING!
Hope to see you soon! HOOK EM'!

Before working with a client I schedule an intake call with Parents an athlete to see how I can help them with my services. the next step would be to do a skill evaluation session with the athlete.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have first hand training and player experience. I am a McDonald's All-American, 18U USA contender, High level AAU, Lady Longhorn, Professional overseas for 7 years.
I have also studied the skill development of Micah Lancaster and Ganon Baker. I have been coached by Jody Conradt, Gail Goestenkors, Karen Aston, Travis Mays and other European coaches.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would make sure your trainer has played or coached at the high level or level that you see yourself playing at? Do they have real experience to get you the results that you are looking for?
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students should know what their strenghts and weaknesses are. Have goals and ideas of how you want to get better and express that to the coach. See if you agree or if your coach sees something that you dont.
